Not impressive.

Hopping on the Sudoku train, eh? Not a bad idea.

But this was not a game, it was a glorified dressup flash. I was even allowed to put a number in the middle of a line. Even the dressup code was poorly executed, I had numbers following my cursor at a distance and no way to drop them except picking up another number. I'm willing to bet you made this game from a dressup tut.

I didn't bother to finish because I assume you have no way of ending the game other than rolling over the text and comparing my answers to the actual solution. I would have given this a higher score if you had actually developed an engine to enforce the rules of the game and reward me for solving the puzzle.

Summary: okay idea, not enough effort (not even close), 1/5.

Obnoxious game - unplayable

First of all, I didn't know how to start the game, I could move up and down the menu but nowhere did it tell me to press enter. I tried pressing space and clicking, I couldn't do anything. I had to ask someone on AIM if they knew how to play the game.

When I finally got in the game, the flashing rings of light whenever I caught a ball distracted me from the gameplay so I couldn't see which items I was going for. At that point I had given up on this game. Sorry.

Glad to see you're still making these.

I like the Ball Revamped series a lot. I'm sure this latest game is spectacular. However I'm having some technical problems with it.

The alpha tweened stars around the goal add nothing to the game and they cause it to lag like hell on my computer, even on low quality. I think you went a little over the top there.

Seems like an awesome game though, I like the fact that you added powerups to this one.

Nice work.

I used to play chess myself. I tested your engine for every rule I could think of (underpromotion, castling through check/out of check, en passant, etc). You did a very nice job. You might want to add a little more style in the future, as if you didn't know chess you wouldn't be entertained by this.

This was the first game I tried:
1.d4 d5 2.c4 e5 3.dxe5 d4 4.e3 Bb4+ 5.Bd2 dxe3 6.Bxb4 exf2+ 7.Ke2 fxg1=N+!!

eww.

A nice game.

I liked this work. The gameplay is original, the choice of music is good, and whereas there is only one level, this game shows that you're getting better and can put well scripted games together. A wider variety of obstacles and objects for you to manipulate in the maze would be nice. Once again, this is a vastly improved work and I think you could go somewhere with this.

Why the overall 0? You're an asshole when responding to reviews. You act like you don't think you can learn anything from anybody who hasn't made flash themselves, but really you just get upset at any sort of critisism period. You will score a lot better IF YOU AVOID PISSING OFF YOUR AUDIENCE. Especially when you submit your games so close together and name them all like --xyz--, so everyone remembers who you are.

Before I read a review, I expect that it's going to be a complaint about something -- something that I might think about for next time. Any praise I get is a bonus.

This is my advice to you. Good luck with your next game; take your time.

Kill-ZONE responds:

How 'bout, no!

Stop it with the Pong!

There have been far too many pongs on NG recently. Pong is not fun. Especially when it's buggy. Hitting space in your version pushes the ball towards you regardless of when you press it, and your paddle can go off of the playing field. Not to mention that playing Pong against a computer is rather pointless anyway.

You don't have to be original, but if you're not, you have to do it perfectly, and you didn't.

Kill-ZONE responds:

waaah,go cry about it!

That's some nice actionscripting

I'll fifen it.

You should really add some more style to it. There aren't a lot of people in your audience who will appreciate the work you put into it as much as I do. Maybe put Hentai pictures in all the squares you complete and put Barney pictures in all the squares P2 completes. Something like that. Then you'd score higher.
